This isn’t really confession, but is there any information if mogeko is or not okay with people selling stuff based on their characters in sites such as society6 and redhubble. I saw a post couple weeks ago about case like this. I have been thinking of selling mogeko based stuff but I just want to make really sure that I’m not doing something they wouldn’t appreciate.

Ah quick question. I downloaded the 1.08 version of the Grey garden, however every time I try to open it it says “???? System Moge ?????”

Hmm… I’m sorry, I’m not really sure what the problem is;; You downloaded it from here, checked the troubleshooting section, and got the correct version for your computer (mac vs pc) right? The only thing I can really suggest is that you try downloading it again, maybe?

Do you publish every confession you get?

Unfortunately not. The main reason for not publishing a confession is simply that is goes against the rules, but I’ll go into a little more detail if anyone wants further clarification of what won’t be published.

  • The main things that won’t be published are hate confessions, overly negative confessions, or anything that seems likely to do little more than cause drama/argumentation in the fandom. Troll confessions included.
  • I also don’t post explicitly NSFW confessions. This mainly means stuff like overly descriptive sexual/violent content. I’m fine with profanity and some sexual content, but I’d like to ask that people don’t take it too far, since this blog isn’t really meant to be excessively NSFW.
  • To avoid spam/repetition, I generally won’t publish confessions that say pretty much the same thing as a confession that has already been posted. I recommend checking the tags to see if something similar to what you want to say has already been made into a confession before you send something in.
  • Confessions that I feel have been made without certain knowledge of canon and would be better off with me giving that information (rather than just making the confession and not informing the confessor) will usually be published with a reply. (Here’s an example, and another.)
  • Regarding asks which I’m not sure if the sender meant as a confession or a question/comment not intended to be a confession– usually in these cases, I answer assuming it’s the latter instead of making a confession, but I’m sorry if I ever get it wrong;;
  • Another thing I don’t publish is confessions which I just… can’t really make sense of. If I don’t really understand what the confession is trying to say, it’s difficult to choose an appropriate image. Sorry about that.
  • This last one I feel kinda bad about, but… if I really don’t know what to use as the image for a confession, I might not post it. I don’t want to use fanart and I generally try to use art from Mogeko’s logs as little as possible, which does make some confessions difficult. I’m sorry about this one;;

Generally, the reason a confession won’t be published is due to one of the aforementioned reasons. I have, on a few occasions, replied to a confession that I didn’t make with an explanation as to why it wasn’t made, but I don’t do this every time because it might get pretty damn repetitive. If you want to know what kinds of things I’m talking about, though, here are some examples. 

Would you ever think about adding mods to the blog?

Ah, I’m afraid not, anon;; Though I appreciate anyone’s interest in helping, I… um. Man, I hate talking about my personal problems on a non-personal blog, but I kinda figured someone might ask this at some point so I might as well say it.

I have OCD and I’m very… fussy, I guess you could say, about the way I do certain things. The idea of having other people make or post confessions makes me super uncomfortable, tbh. Aaaah… I’m really sorry about that;; 

I also apologize if people think I’ve been doing an unsatisfactory job lately. I’m gonna try to pick up the pace in the next few days, yeah. I don’t want it to seem like I desperately need help or something, ahahah;; There will be a bit of a wait period for confessions to be posted but I’d appreciate it if you guys would be patient with me for now.

how long does it take for a submission to be queued and posted nowadays?

Kinda varies.

I’m sorry if it takes longer than people would like. I’m trying my best but unfortunately I’m having some personal problems recently and I guess the posting has become a bit erratic. 

I can’t promise when it will get better, but I’m not going to give up on running this blog or anything. I just have to be honest and admit things might be a bit slow and I don’t have a set schedule right now.
