Speaking of silly Gilkidu AUs, have a Soul Eater one. 

Gil is the top student at DWMA, but he’s a gigantic asshole. No one likes him much less wants to be his partner.. 

On the other hand, everyone wants to be Enkidu’s partner. They’re kinda like Tsubaki in that they can turn into all kinds of weapons, and they’re generally considered a pleasant person to be around (if a little bloodthirsty/reckless from time to time.) 

But they turn down every offer, saying they’ve already got a Meister and they wouldn’t partner with anyone else. 

Of course that partner is Gilgamesh. Enkidu is the only one who can match his soul’s wavelength anyway (so well that it’s scary). 

Incidentally Enkidu switches between the girl’s and boy’s uniform and/or mixes and matches the two on a daily basis. Everyone’s always like ??? but also !!! because they look great in either. (They think the attention is hilarious. Gil is less than pleased.)
